I'm Ilcsi.
I'm Ildikó Kovácsné Iván, but everyone just calls me Ilcsi. As a running coach, I believe the most important thing is taking what we do seriously — something isn't credible because it's hard, it's credible because we know exactly why we're doing it.
Running, for me, isn't just a sport. It's discipline, persistence and constant building — the same mindset I learned during my military service, and the one I now pass on in my coaching.

Discipline isn't a slogan.
My military service taught me that preparation isn't a matter of mood. There's a plan, there's a goal, and there's a team you can rely on. That's exactly the attitude I bring into coaching — except here, the mission isn't service, it's your progress.
Why did I start coaching others?
Running has been part of my everyday life for years: I compete in races, represent the sport as a running ambassador, and see every day how much regular, mindful movement adds to life.
At some point it became clear that I wasn't just running for myself anymore — I wanted others to experience the same thing. That's why I started coaching: beginners, returners, hobby runners and racers alike.

Discipline. Consistency. Precision.
Discipline
It doesn't mean being harsh on ourselves. It means keeping the commitments we made — especially when we don't feel like it.
Consistency
Progress doesn't need magic — it needs regular, planned work, week after week.
Precision
Every session has a reason and a purpose. We don't run at random — we know what we're doing and why.
